To assist in presenting this 50th Anniversary milestone event, the Board of the Boating Industry Association of South Australia has appointed an independent event management company, Kym Jones Exhibitions, to organise the show. Director Kym Jones has more than two decades of expertise in organising consumer events in South Australia. Kym's company is now Adelaide's largest show organiser and he will bring a wealth of experience to our flagship event.

BIASA is the peak body representing the recreational and light commercial boating industries in South Australia. 

In addition to managing the Adelaide Boat Show, BIASA champions the protection and development of SA's boating industry by:

• Lobbying government at the local, state and federal level to protect and promote the industry, focussing on issues including water resources, safety, environment, leisure, recreation, tourism and the improvement of state boating infrastructure

• Providing marketing opportunities to the industry through the presentation of events
  
  
• Working to keep its members abreast of opportunities and developments in the industry through meetings, forums and newsletters
  
  
• Maintaining constructive relationships within the boating industry, with government, and with corporate and community contacts to promote and develop the South Australian marine industry
  
  
• Setting high industry standards by ensuring that its members abide by Industry Codes of Practises and Codes of Ethics
  
  
• Providing advice to the public
