Since 1964 the essential objective of the annual Adelaide Boat Show has been to act as a showcase for the marine industry and to promote safe, responsible and enjoyable boating to the entire community.

The Adelaide Boat Show moved from its original premises at Wayville Show Grounds to the Adelaide Convention Centre in 2002, and has been booming since.

The Adelaide Boat Show now attracts about 20,000 visitors annually.
